Election coming… Need a Sign?
I hate politics. I am not looking forward to this Presidential election.
I am not registered either Democrat or Republican, so this post is not politically motivated. I am an independent and consider myself to be moderately conservative, but with some liberal undertones. Sounds like a good drink huh?
So I found the following picture very funny. It is an actual sign in North Carolina. For those of you seeking a sign on how to vote, maybe this could help:
Now, here are my concerns in what I am seeing so far with this election.
Clinton scares me. Not for the same reasons I am sure Bill gets scared, but for business reasons. Mrs. Clinton has come out as calling mortgage brokers evil. And this is a woman that has an agenda and I sense that she does not easily waiver from her stances.
The other thing that concerns me with Clinton is that she is blatantly anti-republican. If she gets elected, I do not see much getting done by way of working with the Republicans in office. I really fear that she will oppose anything a Republican would suggest on the foundation that it was suggested by a Republican! That sort of bull headedness is not a good thing as President. (Brings to mind the WMD fiasco huh?)
The Rebuplican side really scares me. I don’t see any of the canidates as the President. None of them seem to carry any strength in their person. I can only imagine what terrorists over seas might see if one of these guys wins. Sad, I know.. but don’t we need someone that projects strength?
I am not sure where I will stand on this, or who I will vote for. But I do know that the outcome of this election could have lasting effects on the mortgage and real estate industry and that has my attention. Most politicians make decisions that affect so many people based on popular opinion, not always based on facts. And with the news media still spinning negative news on real estate and mortgages, that has me concerned.
Again, I am not political. So I will do the best I can do in making my vote count. Either way, I will get out and vote and encourage my readers to do the same.
